Daniel P. Kaufman, Vice President and Counsel
Daniel Kaufman provides invaluable strategic and legal advice to the Perennial team and its clients. In addition to general legal counsel, Mr. Kaufman brings specialized knowledge and experience in copyright, trademark, and unfair competition law, with a focus on the entertainment, sports, and media industries.
As Vice President and Counsel, Mr. Kaufman assists non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 corporations in all aspects of Perennial’s practice, including government relations, government contracts, and global diversity.
Prior to joining Perennial, Mr. Kaufman worked as a litigation and intellectual property attorney at Finnegan LLP and K&L Gates LLP, where he assisted in high-profile litigations and provided vital legal advice regarding trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, communications, and media.
Mr. Kaufman is actively involved in the community, volunteering his time to work with the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts and the D.C. Bar Arts, Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law Steering Committee.
