Practice by Hiring Two New Associates
WASHINGTON,
D.C. February 24, 2005 - Perennial Strategy Group (Perennial)
welcomes two new associates to its team. Robert Moran
assumes the role of Vice President of Government Relations,
and Matt Bunker joins the team as Legislative Assistant..
As
the new Vice President of Government Relations, Moran
advises and directs clients through the complicated
and challenging appropriations process. "I'm proud to
be part of the Perennial team and am excited about the
service we can provide for our clients," said Moran.
"As we enter into the most crucial time of the appropriations
season, the Perennial team will continue to work closely
with our clients to maximize their opportunities."
Moran
draws on his twelve years of Capitol Hill experience.
While there, he worked for former Congressman Bob Walker,
Congressman John Peterson (PA-5), and was involved in
several conference committees with the Senate. In addition,
he served as ombudsman for Congressman Peterson to the
Committee on Appropriations for more than three years.
Moran
also served in the Bush Administration as Policy Advisor
to the Under Secretary at the Department of Education.
He was instrumental in developing the administration's
policy on higher education, vocational and technical
education, and adult education.
Before
his arrival at Perennial, Mr. Moran worked as Director
of the Washington office of Greenlee Partners, LLC,
a Pennsylvania-based lobbying firm. He monitored and
executed all federal interests for clients and focused
on securing appropriations in defense, healthcare, education,
and economic development.
As
Legislative Assistant, Matt Bunker will provide support
to Perennial's principals as well as general assistance
for clients. "Having come here from the Hill, I look
forward to continuing my professional interaction with
the Congress and also expanding into more business-related
opportunities and projects," said Bunker. "I'm honored
to be a part of Perennial's dynamic and growing team."
Prior
to joining Perennial Strategy Group, Bunker worked two
years for his home-state senator, Senator Orrin G. Hatch
(R-UT) as a professional staff member on the Senate
Judiciary Committee. He worked on a number of different
issues such as immigration, crime, and nominations of
executive appointees including judges. He also provided
the Committee with valuable research information and
assisted in speechwriting. Bunker is a graduate of Brigham
Young University's David M. Kennedy Center for International
Studies specializing in American Studies. He also received
a minor in Business Administration .
