(May 17, 2011) – Perennial Strategy Group hosted a reception to celebrate the grand opening of National Action Network's Washington, D.C. Bureau. In attendance to welcome NAN to Washington were representatives from the NAACP and National Urban League, as well as leaders in labor and clergy. NAN's President, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Executive Director, Tamika Mallory, addressed the reception attendees along with the event sponsor representative, Tanya Lombard of AT&T.

(April 29, 2011) – Perennial clients Chris Rob and Zahra Universe performed live at The First Amendment Party on Friday, April 29th, 2011 at Long View Gallery in Washington, D.C. The party was hosted by IMPACT Arts + Film Fund, National Journal, The Atlantic, and Funny or Die and was the start to a weekend full of events to celebrate D.C.’s 6th Annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, April 30th, 2011.

(December 13, 2010) – Perennial Strategy Group Founder/CEO, Lamell McMorris, visited the evolving Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Accompanied by U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, Alpha Phi Alpha General President, Herman "Skip" Mason, and MLK National Memorial Project Foundation, Inc. President, Harry Johnson, Mr. McMorris visited the project for strategic planning of the Memorial's unveiling in August, 2011. The Memorial will stand in Dr. King's honor as a commemoration of his work and lifelong national and international contributions to world peace through non-violent social change. (September 17, 2010) – Perennial Strategy Group, in partnership with ESSENCE Magazine and Southern Company, hosted their 2nd annual Evening of Excellence—a special awards reception, as part of the 2010 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's (CBCF) Annual Legislative Conference. The event was widely attended by Congressional Members and several of Washington's leading business professionals as the reception honored some of today's most influential advocates and architects of change. This year's honorees included Warrick Dunn, founder, Warrick Dunn Family Foundation; Judge Glenda Hatchett, host of the Judge Hatchett show and best-selling author; Sheila C. Johnson, CEO, Salamander Hospitality, entrepreneur, philanthropist and filmmaker; and Rodney Peete & Holly Robinson Peete, founders, The HollyRod Foundation.

(September 16, 2010) – Perennial Strategy Group supports the Washington DC Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation during the 2010 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's (CBCF) Annual Legislative Conference. Lamell McMorris, Perennial's Founder and CEO, presents a check for $100,000 to the MLK National Memorial Project Foundation leader, Harry Johnson, in support of the Foundation's on-going effort to commemorate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Among several Congressional members honored during the reception were Rep. John Lewis, Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, Rep. James E. Clyburn, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson, as well as Maryland State Delegate Herman L. Taylor.

(August 6, 2009) – Perennial Strategy Group hosted a meet-and-greet with Commissioner Rory Reid of Nevada. Reid, a candidate for Governor, discussed many of the issues plaguing the state and his stance on a number of topics including housing, healthcare, and employment. Reid also took part in a question and answer session where he responded to guests' inquiries on an array of issues spanning from local government to world affairs.

(07/27/09) Chicago, IL – The President & CEO of Perennial Strategy Groups Lamell McMorris welcomes current and former Urban League presidents to a reception to honor the former Chicago Urban League President James W Compton at the Chicago Mid-America Club. The President's of the Los Angeles, Miami, and Louisville Urban Leagues also spoke about Mr. Compton's legacy and his success as the President of the Chicago Urban League.

(7/12/09) - Perennial Strategy Group Founder/CEO Lamell McMorris presents checks for the first-ever NAACP Rupert Richardson Memorial Leadership Award to the organization's Charleston, South Carolina branch at its Centennial Convention held in New York, NY. Among those on hand for the check presentations were NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Jealous, Chairman Julian Bond, Vice Chairman Roslyn M. Brock, and honoree Dot Scott, President of the NAACP Charleston branch.
Perennial Strategy Group made a total contribution of $60,000 at this year's convention, in honor of the NAACP's 100 years of commitment to pursuing justice and equality for all people.

Finding Our Folk seeks to raise the voices of Katrina's survivors; reconnecting the individuals, families and communities that are scattered across the country, living in exile. Using the tools of education, documentation, healing, and organizing, FOF aims to explore and discuss the conditions that lead to the devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina.

Perennial presented a $10,000.00 check to Harper's "MANifest Your Destiny" foundation. The group is dedicated to empowering, encouraging, and inspiring underserved males to succeed. Perennial Sports and Entertainment contributed $25,000.00 to the Peapod Foundation. Co-founded by Will.i.am, The Peapod Foundation is a global leader in encouraging social change by uniting people through the universal language of music. Since its inception, The Peapod Foundation has worked to support social issues affecting children worldwide, including: Shelter/Housing, Starvation, Healthcare, Education, Poverty and Music/Artistic Education.
